My Bug Out Bag is always being modified and improved. The kit in this video does not reflect my current setup. Although, the kit in this vid is very good and would definatly be suitable for a disasterous situation. This video should be helpful giving you ideas for your kit.

Very thorough vid man. I like it alot. Tip: instead of those mints try jolly ranchers. Way more sugar I believe and almost half the size. Plus you can make jail house kool aide with em if you? like. Just a tip. You don't have to use it. Have a good one man

wheres the water ...
wheres the water filter or purification tabs? Those canteens are going to weigh 2.2 lb a piece once you put water in them, so how? heavy is your bag going to be? If you need a lightweight water filter, try the LifeStraw, 2 oz, costs $20 in North America!

Very well done excellent kit then again i think with that gear you could survive a lot? longer then 72 hours with the right knowledge

Lots of 1-time use ...
Lots of 1-time use or stuff that relies on consumables. i.e.? the torch, could be a dynamo. While trendy food is a lot more expensive then baking some hardtac etc. Got some good stuff there but many of the components can be replaced with reusable or multi-purpose items

@TheHlavinka50 Yes. My basic kit is surplus army, the pack being DPM. It's just the stuff I use for a weekend get away. I'd stand? out in a town/city but thats the last place I'd head for.

WHEN THE s**t hits the fan there will be shooting everywhere and if you ever shot a deer with a pistol you'd know its hard. the deer would run and you'll starve. they will be the first casualties. you seen the book of eli where he arrows the cat? thats gonna be your only option with the pistol.... so you better get you a roll of yarn or a bag of catnip. I keep a container of black powder forbombs... my drenalin with 2 dozen arrows for killing neighbor and takin his food,? quietly
